Coordination Meeting of CEEPUS #TASA Network

From June 25 to 29, a coordination meeting of the CEEPUS network “Tourism and Agriculture Sustainable Alliances – #TASA network” took place in Kotor, gathering over thirty network members from 16 CEEPUS region countries. Participants included Irena Medar-Tanjga, full professor, the network coordinator, Radoslav Dekić, full professor, Dean, and Aleksandra Petrašević, full professor, Vice-Dean for Student Affairs, from the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Mathematics at the University of Banja Luka.

The main focus of the visit was a series of workshops analyzing the network and exploring possibilities for future activities. Joint sessions helped identify ways to enhance mobility and strengthen academic ties. Lazar Pavić, PhD, the main coordinator of the CEEPUS #TASA network from the Faculty of Logistics at the University of Maribor, highlighted that the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Mathematics at the University of Banja Luka achieved the highest mobility within the network in the past year.

The visit was enriched by an additional program organized by the Faculty of Tourism and Hospitality in Kotor, led by Jovana Janinović, PhD. The program included a tour of Kotor, a visit to the Boka Aquarium, a boat trip to Our Lady of the Rocks and Perast, and a cable car ride from Kotor to Lovćen.

The visit to Kotor provided productive workshops, exceptional hospitality, and rich cultural experiences. Insights into past activities and future planning have laid a solid foundation for enhancing mobility and developing the CEEPUS #TASA academic network.
