Russian-Serbian Seminar Held
The Fifth Russian-Serbian Online Seminar, organized by the Institute of Economics and Management of the Ural Federal University in Yekaterinburg, was held on November 26, 2024. The Faculty of Natural Sciences and Mathematics was represented by Prof. Dr. Mira Mandić and Dr. Aleksandar Majić.
The seminar focused on analyzing the work and outcomes of previous seminars, as well as the opening and operational plans of the Center for Russian-Serbian Scientific Research. These were presented by Dr. Aleksey Konstantinovich Klyuyev, Director of the School of Public Administration and Entrepreneurship at the Ural Federal University, and Dr. Anna Petrovna Bagirova.
Similar to the Russian-Serbian seminars, the Center will unite the scientific community from the Russian Federation, Serbia, Montenegro, and Republika Srpska to conduct research in sociology, public administration, demography, youth, and social policies. Through constructive discussions, participants explored opportunities for comparative research and modalities of scientific collaboration.
The Ural Federal University and the Universities of Banja Luka and East Sarajevo have signed cooperation agreements that open numerous possibilities, especially for young researchers.
