The First Winter Camp “I Want More” Successfully Held

The Winter Camp “I Want More,” the first in a series of programs designed for talented and gifted primary and secondary school students, was successfully held from January 16 to 18, 2025, at the University of Banja Luka. The Faculty of Natural Sciences and Mathematics played a significant role in organizing and implementing the camp’s program, hosting numerous workshops in the field of natural sciences.

The camp brought together 215 students and 67 educators, with the official opening taking place in the amphitheater of the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Mathematics. Representatives of the University of Banja Luka, the Republic Pedagogical Institute, and the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Mathematics addressed the attendees, emphasizing the importance of supporting talented students and promoting science at an early age.

During the camp, the Faculty hosted workshops in mathematics, computer science, physics, chemistry, and biochemistry, conducted by its teachers and associates. On the first day, workshops in mathematics, computer science, and physics were held, while on the second day, chemistry and biochemistry workshops were added. The final day was dedicated to biochemistry research. Participants engaged in interactive and practical activities, linking theoretical knowledge to real-world applications.

We extend our gratitude to all the teachers and associates who contributed their efforts and expertise to the realization of this camp.
